Small owls Ying and Yang - Sold

I was lucky and got a rest-piece of another very nice fabric from the webstore I discovered a while back. Household duties and things to do in the garden seem to breathe  down my neck these days, but naturally I couldn't wait longer than a day to give this new fabric a try.

While unpacking the fabric and ridding it of lose fuzz, I had notized that the default spotted pattern would shift into a striped one, if stroking the fur in the opposite direction. Personally, I think that the striped pattern looks a lot nicer than the intended design (plus it's more owl like), so I decided to do and experiment and make two identical owls with mirrored fur directions.

I think they turned out pretty nicelly. The reversed fur does make for a more fluffy owl, as the hairs strive to go back in their "natural" position, but I'm hoping, that they'll settle in with theur new alignment over time.

This fur is shorter than the grey one I've been using on my latest owls, so it works better with slightly smaller sizes. These ones are of the Small variety.
Materials: Luxuary faux fur, faux fur, faux suede, plastic safety eyes and siliconized polyester filling (whatever that means)
